June 2010

Here are a few of the projects we are working on this month.

8 June

BESA Scottish Seminar

Teacher Building

We're working with BESA, the British Educational Suppliers Association, to support their Scottish Seminar for suppliers who want to know more about the Scottish Education System.

We've organised a range of speakers from the Scottish Government, Learning and Teaching Scotland, the SQA and senior managers from the Early Years, Primary and Secondary sectors.

A relatively small event but hopefully the opportunity to work with BESA in the future and maybe some of the other delegate companies.

18 June

Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PPCI) National Conference

Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre

Working with a team of specialist consultants, this event is aimed at those health care professionals who deliver emergency care of heart attack vicitms.

Working with the venue, delegates and speakers this is a unique event where one of the highlights could be monitoring an actual live case during the day. I say could because we won't know until the last minute whether or not a heart attack case has arrived at the hospital. Special video technology will enable the delegates to watch proceedings live in the Beardmore's auditorium.

170 delegates in attendance from across Scotland, mostly paramedics and nursing staff.
